About Me

I am a software developer from Leiria, Portugal, currently living in Kanagawa, Japan, with more than six years of professional experience building full-stack and enterprise solutions. I turn complex business ideas into practical systems that are scalable, reliable, maintainable, and easy to evolve over time.

My technical background spans JavaScript and TypeScript, React, Node.js, PHP, C# .NET, Golang, Java, Python, and SQL. Over the years, I have worked across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, always aiming to write clean and maintainable code and design secure systems that balance performance, scalability, and developer experience.

A major part of my work has focused on SAP Business One integrations, including Service Layer APIs, B1if and XSLT flows, and some SDK-based development. I also lead development initiatives from requirements gathering to delivery, helping bridge the gap between stakeholders and engineers so projects stay aligned with business goals.

I hold a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics, which strongly influences how I approach software design and operations. Security-first thinking, automation, and continuous improvement are central to my work, and I am currently exploring AI and large language models to build smarter tools for enterprise environments.

Outside of tech, I am passionate about hands-on problem solving, especially working on cars, electronics, and DIY projects. I have also practiced Kendo since 2013 and currently hold 3rd dan, a discipline that has shaped my mindset around consistency, focus, attention to detail, and long-term growth.
